AI-GENIX® International Pvt. Ltd. began with something deeply personal: a real need arising from our founders’ farming backgrounds.

Both our founders come from farming families and understand that agriculture is far more than a profession—it is a livelihood, a responsibility, and the foundation of our food systems. Their firsthand connection to farming inspired a fundamental question: Could science and technology offer better ways to protect crops, improve agricultural productivity, and address farming challenges while reducing dependence on chemical interventions?

That question became the starting point of a journey that began in 2001, when research and exploration into alternative approaches to crop protection first took shape. What started as a response to a practical agricultural need gradually developed into a long-term commitment to scientific discovery, experimentation, and technological innovation.

Over the years, the research evolved into the development of physical, non-chemical crop protection technologies. Between 2014 and 2018, our minimum viable products (MVPs) progressed to real-world deployments across eight countries, with more than 4,500 devices deployed during the pre-incorporation phase. These early deployments provided valuable field experience and helped inform the continued development of our technologies.

In 2018, AI-GENIX® was incorporated, creating a formal foundation for advancing the research into practical agricultural solutions. Since then, we have continued working on product engineering, field trials, technology development, and the integration of complementary solutions to address the interconnected needs of modern agriculture.

Beyond Crop Protection: Building an Integrated Agricultural Platform

Our vision has grown beyond individual products. Through AI-GENIX® AgSphere, we are developing an integrated agricultural platform that brings together physical crop protection, plant health and pathogen management, multi-matrix diagnostics through AgProLab, precision agronomy and fertigation advisory through SmartGrowPro, and farm management, analytics, and decision support through AI-GENIX FARM OS.

By combining scientific research, physical technologies, field experience, and digital intelligence, we aim to help agricultural enterprises improve production efficiency, optimise resource use, support crop quality, and adopt more sustainable farming practices.

We recognise that agriculture is complex and that meaningful progress requires continuous research, practical implementation, and evidence from real-world conditions. Our approach is grounded in the belief that agricultural innovation must address genuine farming needs and translate scientific possibilities into solutions that are practical, adaptable, and relevant to growers.
